From dream to fun wait.

In the summer of 2012 we decided to realize our dream – travel to the United States. The idea was for each of us. As a teenager I played into rock band and yearned to be in the legendary town – San Diego – the home of Blink 182, wife just went crazy on the species of the New York skyline. Somewhere in six months everything was decided. We got a visa, and in late August landed at JFK airport in New York.

Walked along Broadway and enjoy views of Central Park.

Met with friend and visited premiere in one of Brooklyn’s cinemas. Enjoyed disappearing into the shadows of endless skyscrapers.

  1. Somehow I don’t think the $25 your wife won would have covered the cost of that gorgeous blue Mustang … [grin]
You obviously had a terrific time, And you’re going to live in Hawaii? – congratulations, Oleg! Your background as a film-maker should get you work, no worries ..

      1. Yes!))) It’s….. this is the most incredible thing that ever happened to me.) I saw your blog, you are a very interesting person! I am pleased to read your book.

      2. That is very nice of you, Oleg! It has quite a lot of ‘Australian’ language in it; so I hope it won’t be hard work.
I’m delighted that you’re all organised: to live in Hawaii will be the complete opposite of your life so far, yes? 🙂
That lovely B&W of you and your wife in the window – who took that shot?

      3. Oh yes, life is completely changed.)))) It will not be easy, but it will, I hope, a happy time.) I faked picture and put it on a timer)

      4. Chic did that A LOT for us! The photo on the cover of the book is one of his auto-timers.
        That B&W shot is beautiful!

      5. Yes, that’s me. I was born on the other side of Australia, in Perth; and I lived for ten years on the bottom, in Melbourne! Australians are like that: we move around a lot.

      6. ))It’s fun) i was born in Moscow, live in Riga, Latvia, came in 6 years old back in Moscow, work in tv & cinematography, wrote a book – “Architector” and now i start a new life). Moscow it’s very cold city…I’m freezing here

      7. You can write a film script about it, Oleg! – heaven knows, we need some good screenplays!
You two are a very good-looking pair, and I think you’ll do well in Hawaii. They like everyone to be beautiful there.
        [grin]
